Whether meeting practical needs, gathering in fellowship, or discipling the next generation, each ministry is an opportunity to live out our mission together.

Meal Ministry
The Meal Ministry provides care and support during life’s more challenging seasons.
Whether someone is recovering from illness, surgery, or experiencing a significant life event, meals are prepared and delivered by members of our church. A coordinator works with volunteers to ensure each need is met with compassion and consistency.
It’s a simple way we serve one another and remind people they are not alone.
Serving Our Community
Food Pantry Ministry
Our Food Pantry Ministry exists to care for individuals and families in need throughout our community.
Food is distributed on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month, with one or two bags provided depending on family size. Each visit is more than just meeting a physical need. We also offer prayer, Bibles, and encouragement through God’s Word.
This ministry is supported through the church budget, generous donations from our church family, and contributions from the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas.
Music Ministry
The Music Ministry at First Baptist Church Valley Springs is centered on using our God-given talents to share the gospel and lead others in worship.
Through weekly services and special seasonal programs, music becomes a powerful way to communicate God’s love and faithfulness across generations.
Our worship includes:

A Praise Team with instrumentalists and vocalists, including youth participation

A Praise Choir Rehearsal open to adults ages 18 in Wednesday evenings at 5:00pm
Rehearsals and meeting times vary throughout the year based on upcoming services and events.
Building Community
Men’s Breakfast Ministry
The Men’s Breakfast Ministry creates space for connection, encouragement, and spiritual growth.
Men of the church and their guests gather twice a month on Sunday mornings for breakfast and Bible study. It’s a relaxed environment where friendships are built and faith is strengthened.
Sunday School
Join us for Sunday School each week at 9:30 AM, where there’s a place for everyone to grow in their faith and connect with others. We offer classes for all ages, from children to adults, each focused on studying God’s Word in a meaningful and practical way.
Whether you’re new to church or have been attending for years, Sunday School is a great way to build relationships, ask questions, and be part of a supportive community.
SENIOR Women’s Classes
These classes provide a welcoming space for fellowship, encouragement, and deeper study of God’s Word. Led by Helen Harmon and Judy White, they are a great way to connect and grow alongside others.
TeamKID (Kids in Discipleship)
TeamKID is a high-energy, Bible-based program for children from Pre-K through 5th grade.
Through games, activities, and Scripture memory, children learn how biblical truths apply to their everyday lives while building friendships and growing in their faith.

Next Generation Ministries
Kids Ministry
We are passionate about helping children grow in their relationship with Jesus in a fun, safe, and engaging environment.

Nursery Ministry
Our nursery provides a safe, caring environment for infants through 5 years old during Sunday School and worship services. Our trusted volunteers ensure your children are well cared for while you enjoy service.
